The Frederick Douglass Scholarship provides full tuition, fees, books, room, and board. It is renewable for a total of fours years of undergraduate student, provided the student maintains a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA. CERRA - South Carolina provides teaching fellowships for up to 200 students each year (or as determined by funding from the General Assembly). Teaching fellows participate in enrichment programs at a Teacher Fellows institution, participate in professional development and leadership opportunities, partner with communities and businesses, and receive up to $6000 fellowship annually for four years as long as they are in the process of completing a degree leading to teacher licensure and meet the criteria to continue in the program.
