In honor of Black History Month, Regions presents the Regions Riding Forward Scholarship Essay Contest. Open to high school students in states with Regions branches.
Eligibility: 1) Be a legal US resident of either Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas or Virginia. 2) Be 13 year or older. 3) Be enrolled in 12th grade in a public or private school located in the United States. 4) Have a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Religious Liberty Essay Contest

The Religious Liberty Essay Scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors. The Religious Essay Scholarship Contest engages students in church-state issues by directing them to express a point of view on a religious liberty topic. Essays are judged on the depth of their content, the mastery of the topic, and the skill with which they are written. Students should develop a point of view on the issue and demonstrate critical thinking, using appropriate examples, reasons and other evidence to support their position. Grand prize is $2,000 and trip for two to Washington, DC. Second prize is $1000 and third price is $250.

National WWII Museum Essay Contest

The National WWII Museum Essay Contest is open to high school students in the United States, US Territories, and military bases. Students are required to write an essay responding to Thompson's questions and concern about the availability of liberty and justice for all Americans, regardless of race, identity, or background.
